Starting Out Simple

Vaping doesn't have to be complicated.

Vaping used to be a little complex. The act of Vaping wasn't necessarily a complication, it was the little issues that would arise that needed constant attention - or modification knowledge -  for proper functionality that created frustration for many. Vaping can still be complicated with Advanced Vaping - Building Coils and using them in Rebuildable Atomizers. Now with Disposables and Pre-Filled Pods, Vaping complications can be a thing of the past. Although there are many convenience upsides, there are still downsides.

Disposables

A disposable Vape device containing a small pre-charged battery and a pre-filled E-liquid reservoir that can not be opened, recharged or refilled.

• Simple, convenient. No filling or charging. Just open and starting using. Short life span, 200-500 puffs for most devices.
• Cheapest introduction to Vaping. Only a fraction of the cost of a larger Starter Kit. Highest cost if used exclusively. All of those small costs will add up quickly.
• Great for anyone with dexterity issues or who have limited hand use.
• Makes a great gift for someone looking to get into Vaping.
• Excellent option for "being on the go"; travelling, hiking, camping and concerts etc...
• Not economical or environmental and dangerous if not recycled properly. Non-refillable tank. Non-rechargeable batteries that could end up in landfills causing havoc when crushed.
• Easy to break, lower quality, and no battery or E-liquid level indicator.
• Limited Nicotine strength and flavour options. Often only available in highest strengths and most popular flavours, making it difficult for some to find unique flavours while having little to no Nicotine reduction options.

Pre-Filled Pods

Pre-Filled E-liquid pods that can not be opened or refilled that are designed to be used with a proprietary rechargeable device.

• Simple, convenient. Just pop in a Pod into the rechargeable device and start using. Pods can not be refilled and typically only last a day.
• Removeable Pods means the Device can be recharged and used again. It should last 200-400 puffs between charges and should be replaced and recycled within 12 months of continuous use. Both will clog up landfills if not recycled properly.
• Cheaper introduction to Vaping. Typically less than half of the cost of a larger Starter Kit. High cost if used exclusively. Around half the cost of using disposables daily.
• Great for anyone with dexterity issues or who have limited hand use.
• Makes a great gift for someone looking to get into Vaping.
• Excellent option for "being on the go"; travelling, hiking, camping and concerts etc...
• Not economical or environmental and dangerous if not recycled properly. Non-refillable pods. Rechargeable batteries that could end up in landfills causing havoc when crushed.
• Easier to break and lower quality, but usually higher quality than disposables.
• Limited Nicotine strength and flavour options. Often only available in highest strengths and most popular flavours, making it difficult for some to find unique flavours while having little to no Nicotine reduction options.
• Limited customization and accessory options. Most products typically have only a few colours to choose from and little to no accessories, although some existing ones can be altered to work.

Disposables are great for certain situations, and make the transition to Vaping easier than ever before. The initial low cost allows anyone, looking to make the switch to Vaping, the opportunity to at least try without spending upwards of $100. For those who enjoy the ease of use of Disposables, Vape full-time and use them exclusively, Pre-Filled Pods may be a better option to move on to and provide a very similar hassle-free experience. Not only will the cost of Vaping be cut in half, there will be much less waste. Batteries will not be discarded everyday, they can be re-charged, and manufactures are starting to implement Pod Recycling Programs. Most Vape Shops will accept old batteries and disposables for recycling. 

Disposables are similar to renting a car - Great for the short-term or certain situations. Renting a car everyday isn't the most economical approach for daily transportation, purchasing a car would be a much smarter financial choice. Anyone who is Vaping everyday should consider Getting Invested.
